About Incubator
The Biosense Institute launched a business incubator with the aim of contributing to combining academic expertise with entrepreneurial resources. This represents a transformative endeavor aimed at bridging the gap between academic research and real-world entrepreneurship. The goal of the incubator is to create a culture of innovation and commercialization within the academic community, and the expected result leads to wider economic and social benefits. In 2024, the Incubator is implementing the Innovative Ideas Support Program that lasts from December 2023 to November 2024 and 12 teams that have ideas in the following domains AgTech, BioTech, Food and Beverages, AI, FinTech, and Animal Health are participating in it.

The BioSense Institute is a research and development institute for information technologies of biosystems, it was founded in 2015 and is a pioneer in the digital transformation of agriculture in Serbia. Investigating the scientific and technological boundaries of the innovative application of IT in agriculture, the Institute strives to provide the Serbian, as well as the global agricultural sector, with superior digital solutions in order to achieve higher yields with less investment. In addition, through research and innovation, BioSens contributes to the global goals of sustainable development set by the United Nations. The Institute’s focus is to contribute to the reduction of hunger and the end of poverty, the improvement of health and education, the reduction of inequality and the stimulation of economic growth through the development of the most modern digital solutions, all while taking into account climate change and the preservation of the environment.
